GLS / NEXT Precision Marketing Recognized as the Midwest’s Most Awarded Print Marketing Company and 2016 Best of Show Winner at PIM Star of Excellence Awards

Minneapolis, MN—May 11, 2016—GLS / NEXT Precision Marketing announces it has been recognized as the Midwest’s most award-winning print marketing company at the annual Printing Industry Midwest (PIM) 2016 Star of Excellence Awards ceremony. GLS / NEXT received an unprecedented 28 awards, including Best of Show, five Best of Category, nine Best of Class, one Best of Division, 11 Certificates of Merit and one Honorable Mention.

The Best of Show accolade, selected by a panel of veteran print industry judges, was awarded to GLS / NEXT for the creation of the Hewlett Packard (HP) Indigo print sample book, “We Stand by Ink.” The groundbreaking piece was produced entirely on HP Indigo digital print technology, making it the first-ever PIM Best of Show awarded to a work produced on a digital press.

The entry is part of an award-winning, multi-channel marketing campaign for HP Indigo that was entirely created, designed and produced by GLS / NEXT’s marketing team at NEXT Precision Marketing. The Precision Marketing campaign was developed for HP to drive awareness and adoption of HP Indigo digital print technology in North America. The integrated, multi-channel campaign consisted of direct mail, the innovative print sample book, customer and technical content, email, video, webinars, landing pages with personalized URLs and response tracking. HP reported tremendous success with the campaign and it has been repurposed into their marketing efforts worldwide.

The annual PIM Star of Excellence awards competition recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of print communications in the Midwest. The competition promotes excellence in print communications and awards companies and individuals who produce the best in printed media. Print pieces are eligible in 31 different categories.
