Cudahy WI – April 11, 2019 – Milwaukee Cylinder, a leader and innovator in the hydraulic and pneumatic actuation field, announces their participation as technical speakers at the Fluid Power Technology Conference 2019. The conference will be held May 13-15that the Milwaukee School of Engineering’s Kern Center and is being offered by the publication Fluid Power World and MSOE. Milwaukee Cylinder’s Douglas Lacina, Commercial Director and Pete Frymark, Product Engineering Manager, will be hosting a technical discussion and presentation titled: “Automating Hydraulic Cylinders – 5 Things to Consider”. In addition, Milwaukee Cylinder will have expert staff on hand during the entire conference at Booth #310 to discuss products and solutions for your applications.
“This is our fourth year participating,” said Douglas Lacina, Commercial Director for Milwaukee Cylinder. “We believe this is a great forum to help inform engineers, designers and managers on the benefits of hydraulic-based solutions”.
This year’s presentation will focus on cylinder and system designs as related to automation. Automation has become a foundation in modern industrial applications, and the demands required for precise control of hydraulic cylinders. If the cylinder and system are not designed correctly, the automation won’t function as required, or may reduce the life of components. This presentation will discuss five important considerations in designing a robust, fast and accurate automated hydraulic cylinder solution. This practical, technical discussion is scheduled for 10:00–10:30 AM on day three of the event, May 15th.
