The new website has a page for every catalog product SKU, totaling 5,000 product pages in eight languages. The individual SKU pages contain all of the product specs and image references and are now stored in a database. “This provides the ability for the information to be exported from the website, which in return better supports our channel partners who use e-commerce,” said Sujecki.
Some additional features of the website include a responsive/mobile-friendly design, improved search and navigation filters, new product categories and distributor search. Type-ahead search will display potential product matches when the visitors begin to type a model number. The navigation filters will list multiple products based on common attributes and include the new product accessories and tool set categories.
“This is the first phase of our plan to continue to make enhancements to improve our customer experience,” said Sujecki.
