Enerpac Introduces New Multi-Stage Telescopic Hydraulic Cylinders

Menomonee Falls, WI—November 9, 2017—Enerpac, an international market leader in high-pressure hydraulics, introduces its new series of Multi-Stage Telescopic Hydraulic Cylinders designed for long cylinder strokes in confined spaces.

The telescopic cylinders feature a multi-stage rod built from a series of nested steel tubes of progressively small diameter. The long stroke, multi-stage telescopic cylinder is particularly suited for extended lift heights when clearance is limited.

“The longer stroke length of the telescopic cylinders will save our customers time and simplify projects by moving loads a greater distance and eliminating the use of temporary cribbing,” said Alberto Larrea, Global Product Manager at Enerpac.

The nitrocarburized surface treatment inside and out provides unparalleled side load resistance and corrosion protection for safe use in the harshest conditions.

Multi-Stage Telescopic Hydraulic Cylinders features include:

  • Three percent side load for full capacity
  • Double- or triple-wear bearing support lifting stages
  • Tilting saddles with five degrees of maximum tilt
  • Lifting eyes for safe handling and positioning
  • Steel cylinder base for maximum strength

Enerpac’s telescopic cylinders are available with two or three pistons, have 15 to 35-ton capacity and can lift loads up to 24 inches in a single movement.
