Cannon Falls, MN—June 2, 2015—Gemini is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2015 Ross Wagner Engineering Scholarship, Teressa Lundtvedt, Levi Prestegard and Paul Fitterer. The Ross Wagner Scholarship was established to provide full scholarships to deserving students seeking degrees at the country’s top engineering schools.
Teressa Lundtvedt, a senior at Decorah High School, will be attending the University of Minnesota where she plans to major in biomedical engineering. Lundtvedt is active in her community through Girl Scouts, student council, National Honor Society, speech, swim team and Just for Kix dance. She also works part time at a nursing home, where her responsibilities include training new workers.
Levi Prestegard, a 2014 graduate of Cannon Falls High School, is currently a student at the University of Minnesota where he is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. Prestegard credits his parents with setting a great example for him to pursue a goal in this field.
Paul Fitterer, a senior at Randolph High School, plans to attend the University of Minnesota where he will study mechanical engineering. Fitterer is one of the most decorated wrestlers in the Cannon Falls-Randolph Bomber wrestling program as the winner of the Minnesota class AA 126-pound weight class. He finished his career with 178 wins. Fitterer was also named to the 2015 Minnesota Wrestling Coaches Association (MWCA) All-State Academic Wrestling Team.

Dedicated to the memory of Ross C. Wagner (1924-1992), the second Chairman of the Board of Directors at Gemini, the Ross Wagner Scholarship provides full-ride scholarships for students majoring in civil, aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, biomedical and chemical engineering as well as chemistry and physics. It is open to all students attending the local high school in cities where Gemini’s manufacturing plants are located: Decorah, IA; Cannon Falls, MN; Farmville, VA; Taylor, TX; Fallon, NV; and Hanover, Ontario. It is also available to students attending the local high schools in Howard, SD and Randolph, MN, which are the hometowns of Gemini’s founders.
